Add Warby Parker’s new sunglasses collection to your holiday wish list!

I love Warby Parker – the cool eyeglass/sunglass company that makes awesome, modern frames for a borderline ridiculous price. Their stores are beautiful, they offer quick frame adjustments, and I don’t know why, but I really love that the glasses all have people names. My favourite pair, for example, are my Wilkies – maybe one day they’ll come up with an Ashleigh frame?

Me and my Wilkies.

Warby Parker’s new Curtis collection is actually a re-issuing of last year’s popular series (a collaboration with inventive music and art label Ghostly), but this season, they’re offering the super cool shades in new colors: Aubergine Fade, Moss, and Bourbon Tortoise, in addition to the previously sold-out Revolver Black (with a brand-new lens color), which will be sold exclusively at retail locations.

Just like all of Warby Parker’s glasses, for every pair sold, they distribute a pair to someone in need through their non-profit partners. And did I mention most of them are $95 freaking dollars? You can’t go to your local mall and buy a no-name crappy pair of prescription glasses for that price.

Because I’m feeling inspired by these new frames, I decided to put together an entire outfit around them – so if anyone’s looking for Christmas presents for me, any/all of this outfit would do:

My ultimate winter outfit, clockwise from top left: mixed cable sweater, J. Crew; Tourmaline kid leather ankle boots, Jimmy Choo; leather bucket bag from Steven Alan; and Moto Cord Jamie Jeans from TopShop.

Merry Christmas to me!  And until Warby Parker debuts their Ashleigh frames, these Curtis ones will do just fine.

Ahhh thank you for posting this!! So timely for me as I just found out I need glasses and couldn’t remember the name of this company. I visited their store in NYC and loved their frames. I took a chance on a pair just from online viewing as their styles are all pretty beautiful…hoping I don’t look like a freak.
