Too Cool for School egg cream sheet mask

You guys know I’m big on masks; they’re an affordable indulgence and if you find a good one for your skin, they can actually make you feel and look better. They’re also kinda fun, especially these Hannibal Lecter-esque sheet masks that are so big right now.

I’m also into the new trend of egg-related beauty products, most of which come from Korea; eggs are delicious and full of protein and I’m happy to eat them and also put them on my face for beauty, if the situation arises. The Too Cool for School Egg Cream Sheet Mask (Sephora; $8) is a micro-fiber mask that uses egg white and yolk extracts to nourish skin. Slap it on, leave it for about 20 minutes while you do your nails or watch Netflix or something else really important, and then slide it off, massaging the rest of the serum into your skin. Then, finish off with whatever you’d normally do: a moisturizer or face oil.

Sheet masks are a bit more high-maintenance than I’m usually into, but as a treat it was pretty fun (and terrifying to look at). My skin did look fresh and moisturized and clean afterwards, but maybe that’s because I actually eat at least a dozen eggs a week? Either way, this mask is worth a shot.

Have you tried any sheet masks that I should know about? Let me know in the comments!
